Important results from the project
The project strengthened the innovation cooperation in the field of health between Sweden and Singapore through:
- A webinar, "Singapore’s Healthcare Transformation Towards Future Healthcare", that reached a wide audience.
- Two incoming delegations from SingHealth (patient safety and sustainability).
- One outgoing delegation with thought leaders and SME´s companies (30 ppl).
- Two MoU was signed; between our MoH and MoH in SG and another between NUHS and Swedish parties.
Expected long term effects
The project has laid a strong foundation for long-term collaborations between Sweden and Singapore within health. The MoU between the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Health signals a joint commitment to innovation and exchange of experience. Expected effects include collaboration in next generation pharma, precision medicine and AI in healthcare. The activities have also increased awareness of Singapore as a strategic market for partnerships.
