Call Planning grant for international proposal 2025

Purpose and goal

The project´s aim is to coordinate a Horizon proposal together with 7 international partners. The proposal is about pedestrians, cyclists and "micro mobility" users. The proposal will focus on developing support for municipalities to create a safer but also more attractive transport system. Several user groups will be addressed, including "weaker" groups. The goal is to create a proposal that will be granted by the Commission, with a total budget of 5 million euros.

Expected effects and result

The project expects to identify which traffic safety-enhancing measures are suitable to implement to create a safer traffic environment for active road users. Measures that increase mobility are also central. The ambition is that the traffic safety-enhancing measures will result in a reduction in accidents while at the same time more individuals become active road users.

Planned approach and implementation

We are currently conducting workshops every week until the Christmas break. During the Christmas break, which varies for different partners, we work individually. On January 7, the work will continue according to the schedule we have agreed upon where Part A, budget, WP:n, and activities in our living labs are developed and integrated. The intention is to submit a complete proposal on January 19.
