Important results from the project
The purpose and objective of this project was to map the Swedish ICT industry, and analyse and describe how it has developed during the last 5-year period. This analysis was done and the result was presented in both a presentation and a report, which fulfilled the intended objective.
Expected long term effects
Among expected effects from this project, utilization of the results from the survey and analyse by regional and national stakeholders are key. It is still too early to tell if this will happen, but several stakeholders have shown great interest in the outcome. For example county councils and municipalities in different parts of Sweden.
Approach and implementation
The approach of project is to analyse and summarise the results from the study in a report and a presentation. This has been done by first defining the industry segments, sectors and R & D areas relevant to the area, followed by identification and coding of the company population.
