Improved manufacturing processes for sintered steel through optmization of carbon sources (garphite and sintering atmosphere). Industrial studies show higher requirement for the mixing process. Significant increased sinteringaktivities through interaction between different sinteringatmospheres and carbon source under industrial has not been reached

Expected long term effects

The interaction between atmosphere and carbon sources indicats effects that are of interesting. However, during industrials conditions no clear effect is seen on parts in order to impement the result.

Approach and implementation

Clear plan where both detailed (Academic) and industrial studies have been combined. Upscaling of technology shows higher requirements in the mixing process
