Purpose and goal

Increase the system effectiveness of the innovation support linked to commercialization at universities and create the basis for sustained, robust and active management of the results in order to increase employment, growth and competitiveness for Sweden in the long term. Expected effects and result

The project´s expected results: • Model for identifying, capturing and sorting of knowledge assets • Model for researcher compensation and commercialization through a combination of license deals, knowledge transfer and start-ups • Portfolio management model for academic knowledge assets • The project results are implemented by testing them directly in three innovation support structures. Afterwards, the models are developed and rigorously tested on different knowledge assets

Planned approach and implementation

To increase the possibility of concretization and practical usability, the project is divided into two work packages. The two work packages include both model development and the implementation and management of the models: AP1) Identifiering and sorting of knowledge assets (UmU Holding) AP2) Models for value creation and portfolio management (LiU Holding) Dissemination of the results to other universities to stimulate a national change in approach and handling of various knowledge assets
