Purpose and goal
The project aims to validate the feasibility of applying LucentWave’s patented Hyperlet Transform (HLT) to 6G Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) systems, delivering time-frequency super-resolution at reduced computational cost. It targets enhanced signal/event separation, localization, and fingerprinting in noisy cmWave/mmWave 6G sensing under complex multipath conditions, enabling advanced IoT, UAV detection, healthcare, industrial automation, and smart infrastructure applications.
Expected effects and result
-
Planned approach and implementation
The project will run in three work packages: WP1 project management and future planning, WP2 defining 6G ISAC requirements and use cases, and WP3 system modelling and evaluation. LucentWave adapts HLT for 6G, creating realistic noisy signal datasets, defining metrics, and benchmarking vs. STFT/wavelets. Lund University contributes neuroscience-based tracking methods for multi-source localization. Results will guide TRL3–4 readiness and hardware integration planning.
