Project duration November 2013 - October 2014
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The project aims to enable the municipalities to effectively communicate quality information for their various services to its citizens in a simple way. It also allows the public to evaluate which services they want to use. We also wanted to make it easier for municipalities to work with quality measures (KPIs) in all of their activities. The overall goals are well met by the project and the interest in this type of service is very high from the municipalities. Hypergene has through the project received significant expertise in communications with the public.

Results and expected effects

The effects of the project for Hypergene´s businesses can begin to be seen, as many municipalities are showing great interest in the new comparison service. The project has already had many positive effects on how Hypergene are working with KPIs in the BI system for municipalities and the cooperation with RKA has been strengthened by this focus. The acquired knowledge and experience will positively affect Hypergenes product development going forward, particularly in visualization and making software available as a cloud service.

Approach and implementation

The project plan with nine main activities defined in conjunction with the Vinnova application has been fully implemented and the completion time has followed the plan well. Interaction with the three municipalities throughout the project has been very stimulating and significantly improved the result and made it fully anchored in concrete needs. During the project duration of approximately 1 year, monthly project meetings were held with participating municipalities to gradually work out the concept.
