Purpose and goal
The aim of the project was to investigate the last mile delivery problem, from a environmental and sustainable perspective, and find a solution that in the long run could replace the current last mile delivery system and replace it with a more sustainable solution.
Expected results and effects
The aim of the project was to validate if a last mile delivery robot solution is possible to implement and whether it can replace current solutions in the future, to reduce emissions of fossil fuels. The outcome was positive as the prototype works and there is interest in doing building a business based on the outcome of this project.
Planned approach and implementation
The project started with investigating and creating an understanding for the last mile delivery problem and the current solutions for last mile deliveries, ending up in building a prototyp as a part of building a more sustainable solution together with a working business model.
