Important results from the project
The project explored modern manufacturing methods for reducing resource use and improving the yield in the manufacturing of thermoelectric devices.
Expected long term effects
We have successfully demonstrated the potential of the new methods for significantly simplifying the manufacturing process by removing many manual and expensive steps. This can help improve yield and resource use in the manufacturing of thermoelectric devices.
Approach and implementation
The project has been a tight collaboration between Jondetech and KTH, who have leveraged the complementarity of their competencies and infrastructure to advance the objectives efficiently. The co-location at the KTH campus has benefited the work by reducing travel time for joint experiments and reducing barriers to face-to-face communication.
