Purpose and goal

Health Data Sweden - Next Level aims to facilitate the digitalization of the healthcare sector with AI innovations. Through a bottom-up approach, HDS has built a tightly integrated set of services for both SMEs and public organizations that break traditional regional and organizational boundaries and reach a broad spectrum of stakeholders. The project will also promote the integration of EU-supported AI infrastructures into the Swedish innovation ecosystem.

Expected effects and result

The project´s efforts are expected to lead to clearer inputs and more efficient processes for the use of health data, increased collaboration for the development, implementation and commercialization of digital solutions for healthcare, social care and the individual, as well as increased availability of health data. The expected effects are better health and greater opportunities for the individual to participate and be able to influence their own health.

Planned approach and implementation

The consortium consists of 16 partners; regions, universities and innovation environments that today constitute a solid ecosystem in Sweden with cutting-edge expertise and services in the health data area. Genom HDS will develop and scale up the existing service offering for both Swedish and European companies as well as for the public sector. Testing and validation, early funding and education are some of the areas of activity.
