Purpose and goal
The purpose of Hbg Mashup was to move Sweden forward together with other municipalities. We managed to push ourselves to talk about the future - that we work towards shutting down our own waste company because there will be no garbage in the future and that we want to be able to welcome the largest ships in the world. We also created possibilities for other municipalities - both as a participant and by presenting on stage. Number of participants: 1026 (goal 900). Number of municipalities: 72 (Goal 50).
Expected results and effects
We managed to push ourselves to talk about the concrete future. 12 employees from Helsingborg talked about our common concrete future - it gave a positive effect because it gives more will to innovate in our organization, especially since all our managers where there.
Planned approach and implementation
In addition to the usual stage / audience-format, we also had workshops, walk and talk, dinner with friends and a hackathon. Overall, it was much appreciated. 76% of the participants gave Hbg Mashup the highest or second highest score (very good / good). We also challenged all speakers to shorten their performance, some only got 1 minute. It challenged us in the implementation and it challenged the speakers on stage but we managed and it was worth it.
