Call | Planning grant for international proposal 2025 |
Purpose and goal
The goal is to develop technologies for valuable hydrogen production from nitrogen-rich waste streams using carbon fibers as electrode materials, while minimizing the contribution of ammonia to the eutrophication of lakes and waterways. Through workshops and coordination, a competitive proposal will be developed with a focus on converting ammonia in water into energy.
Expected effects and result
The grant will be used to mobilize a consortium of academic institutions, research institutes, and innovative companies. Through workshops and coordinated efforts, a competitive project proposal will be developed with a specific focus on converting ammonia in water into energy.
Planned approach and implementation
The objective is to identify research environments and innovative actors in electrochemistry, nanomaterials, energy conversion, water purification, and sustainable development. Planned activities: 1. Identify and invite potential partners. 2. Conduct digital meetings and follow-up dialogues. 3. Collect Letters of Intent (LOIs) to secure partner commitments. 4. Match partners with the project´s preliminary work packages and technology domains.
