Purpose and goal
The project aims to create a unique recruitment tool and method for identifying global pioneers in gender equality work within industry, research centers, and universities. The objectives of the project will be achieved through the transformation and making available of global databases; previously unexploited for the purpose of recruitment. The results of the project will be published as an open analytical view online, and through project partners, disseminated to Swedish industrial companies in need and wishing to improve gender equality in their innovation departments.
Expected results and effects
The project aims to unlock unavailable data, providing unique insights on gender equality pioneers across over 61,500 niche tech segments. We anticipate that sharing insights with companies will enhance understanding of the current state and opportunities, fostering dialogues between more and less successful entities, and prompting discussions on best practices for improvement.
Planned approach and implementation
The two project partners, Hardskills and Competence, have distinct roles yet aim to collaborate throughout. Initially, Competence gathers insights from industrial contacts to guide the project. Hardskills then leads the technical development, continuously iterating with both internal and external partners until satisfaction is reached. Finally, Competence takes over in the dissemination phase, ensuring the project´s impact extends beyond its funded duration. The technical development takes up most of the time of the project.
