Important results from the project
The goal was to build a strong consortium for the FutureFoodS application stage 1 (pre-proposal), this the project succeeded in. However, we were not allowed to continue to stage two (full proposal). But the consortium will be used to apply for other applications, both nationally and at EU level. Steps were also taken to develop the approach to achieve the goals in stage 2.
Expected long term effects
The idea will be developed in future project, and a network has been created with consortium members that will build further collaborations.
Approach and implementation
In step 1 DTI, TFTAK and RISE collaborated on the goals of the project and the planning of the work packages. The three the actors in Sweden, Denmark and Estonia contacted companies. Further contacts were sought in the EU around fermentation, nutrition, microbiology and utilization of results. These were found. Discussions were held between project partners and step 1 application (pre-proposal) to FutureFoodS was written. The plan for step 1 proposal was followed. As well as the start and draft for step 2.
