Future mobility for increased freedom in an aging population

Important results from the project

The project objectives were met. We explored a future scenario that would ensure that no person in society loses their quality of life due to reduced mobility. The project has also contributed to exploring innovative solutions and services that can give Lidingö´s seniors an opportunity to live an independent, safe and active life at home for as long as possible. The project has also contributed to increasing the knowledge and importance of strategic foresight within the municipal sector.

Expected long term effects

Changing the view on seniors´ mobility needs. Implementation of strategic foresight in the city of Lidingö and use of the method in our strategic innovation work.
