Purpose and goal
The purpose of the conference was to enable young scientists to network and discuss common visions and obstacles to overcome in today´s society.
Expected results and effects
By participating at the conference I established many new contacts within academia, industry and public sector. I learned the importance of guiding lawmaking in Sweden and EU to be based on scientific grounds, in particular regarding GMO.
Planned approach and implementation
I traveled to Kyoto, Japan and participated at the conference plenaries and round-table discussions.
