Important results from the project

The goal was to coordinate a competitive application within HORIZON-CL4-2021-RESILIENCE-01-08: Establishing EU led international community on sustainable-by-design materials (CSA). The purpose of the application is to create a common understanding of the principles of sustainable design for materials as well as application of the principles, both for products and processes, for different value chains. The application is submitted.

Expected long term effects

The application has resulted in building of a strong consortium in the field of Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design for materials and chemicals. The aim of the project is to establish an open and inclusive permanent structure for cooperation between network members, different value chains and engaging parties beyond consortium members, throughout the duration of the project as well as after.

Approach and implementation

The application process was coordinated through continuous dialog at regular meetings with members of the consortium and meetings with interested supporting organisations (associated partners). The project is structured in 7 work packages (WP). All information about the application and the different WPs was organized via a common platform (SharePoint). In addition, meetings and planning were organised within each WP and between different WPs to capture synergies in the different activities.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
