Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project has been to make knowledge of innovation management available to a larger audience. This has been done through the development of pedagogical models and methods derived from innovation management research. These models and methods have been made available in the form of a two-day training program. The training program has been developed by Kairos Future and KTH and is offered by Kairos Future. The goal was to reach at least 20 persons with a need of this competence and to this date more than 100 persons have taken the training program.
Expected results and effects
The evaluations point to that the participants experience that they have gained concrete insights and tools that they can use in their everyday work in order to foster innovation in their organizations. Evaluations have been sent to all participants. The grade for the training program as a whole was 6.1 on a scale of 1-7. On the question if they would recommend the training program to others the mean score was 6,2 on a scale of 1-7. The training program have had participants from the public and private sector.
Planned approach and implementation
Kairos Future and KTH has, in close collaboration, developed a training program in innovation management for innovation management processionals. In this work, a reference group from a number of organizations has helped out by setting requirements, taking the training program, and subsequently given feedback on the training program’s content. Five open training programs have since been given as well as three training programs targeted towards specific organizations. The training program is now part of Kairos Future’s permanent training program offerings.
