Purpose and goal

To establish the PMH Application Lab Center for the production of heavy vehicles for heavy vehicles at KTH. In addition, established a so-called innovation cluster, PMH R & D Cluster. In this innovation cluster, PMH Application Lab collaborates with Fraunhofer institutes IPT and IWU from Germany and with the Swedish research partners KTH, Swerea KIMAB, Swerea IVF, Chalmers and Fraunhofer-Chalmers Center FCC. Industrial species order research and development through the innovation cluster.

Expected results and effects

Industrial partners order research and development through the innovation cluster.

Planned approach and implementation

The operations are organized into four working groups: - Gear technology - process optimization, production equipment and running production. - Machining - process optimization, production equipment, running production and strategic planning. - Forming - process optimization, production equipment, running production and strategic planning. - Smart manufacturing - digital infrastructure (5G, cloud technology), digital twin and model-based data analytics. In these workgroups, there are a total of about 70 experts from academia, institutes and companies.
