Important results from the project
The report is based on results and reflections from a series of workshops and collaborative meetings in the project, conducted during Q3 and Q4 2015. The sources this report is based on, the UbiGo case, results and work conducted in Finland by VTT and University of Tampere, work done in the MaaSterplan project (Vinnova) and other research collaboration with Chalmers Göteborg, SMART Mobility (University of Michigan), AustriaTech , provides of course a whole range of limitations such as limited geographical coverage, limited study time, limited volume of users and so forth.
Expected long term effects
The project has resultet in an enhanced cooperation between a number of research instituttions focusing om Mobility as a Service. The project have also contributed to dissemination MaaS as a concept among the transpriot industry. A number of new intitiatives have been started based on this collaborations such as: - A consortium applying for a four-year program about Integrated mobility with MISTRA (pending desicion). - A H2020 applicaiton with some of the project particapants, aiming towards MaaS - Newsletter on Smart Mobility (Drive Sweden)
Approach and implementation
The project have been conducted through a series of workshops, interviews and meetings with researchers and represenatives for the transport industry and the public.
