Project duration December 2013 - February 2014
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The Purpose of the Founders Alliance IMSE 2014 and Founders Alliance IME2E 2014 is to stimulate innovation through meetings between students and entrepreneurs and on the other hand, entrepreneurs and other entrepreneurs, with the latter acting as identifier of needs. We have chosen to focus on Stockholm as a test market in both of the two meeting projects and identifier of needs who are innovative thinkers to achieve the best possible results when identified needs resulting in solutions which in turn increases the likelihood that innovation hight is achieved in meeting the project.

Results and expected effects

In both meeting projects, we estimate that the expected effects will be both a continued and further strengthened exchange between identifier of needs and entrepreneurs, a stronger connection to entrepreneurship in our society and idea realisation when we bring together these parties who would otherwise not meet. We estimate that both meeting projects will result in 6 applications to Vinnova Pilot 2014 and Vinnova Research Grow 2014.

Approach and implementation

We have planned an approach that is based on one to three days of innovation where entrepreneurs and identifier of needs participate in an innovation driven process lead by two professionals. These are entrepreneurs in the Founders Alliance network that have carried out major innovation projects with very good results. We will ensure that Vinnova is informed with process descriptions to enrich the development of the future meeting projects.
