Purpose and goal

The project´s primary goal is to establish an efficient framework for green and inclusive neighborhood-focused delivery services in urban outskirts. It seeks to develop effective methods, toolkits, and strategies to incentivize the operation of mobile e-delivery hubs. These hubs will utilize dynamic bike-cargo fleets and cutting-edge digital incentivization technology, with active participation from both private and public stakeholders.

Expected effects and result

Our goal is to achieve a sustainable and community-focused green delivery system with a net-zero environmental impact. We aim to enhance the vitality of neighborhoods and urban areas by introducing versatile distribution and pickup stations that serve multiple purposes. These innovative solutions will be developed collaboratively with the involvement of citizens and will be complemented by data-driven incentive strategies, inspiring individuals to utilize these services while emphasizing their role in promoting sustainability and improving their overall quality of life.

Planned approach and implementation

In this project, the aim is to support the 15-minute city concept by uniting: - Logistics providers enhancing sustainability in daily essential deliveries. - Fleet providers offering eco-friendly delivery options like cargo bicycles and e-bikes. - Distribution centers and pick-up stations enriching local neighborhoods. - Engaging citizens and urban stakeholders in co-creation within a living lab. - Utilizing digital sustainability incentives and behavior change strategies (e.g., "green nudges") from experts. - Tapping into networks and expertise for scaling solutions.
