Purpose and goal

The feasibility study aims to mobilize actors for a future collaborative project promoting digitalization and electricity flexibility in the industry. Needs/benchmark/foresight analyses, a communication campaign, and a project plan, will lay the foundation for creation of advanced energy solutions. The consortium has a strong network and expertise in digitalization, energy optimization, and collaboration. The project will consist of knowledge-raising efforts and demo projects in the industry

Expected effects and result

The project will help Swedish manufacturing industry in the transition from passive use of cheap energy to become a conscious player in the energy market maintaining production capacity and increased profitability. Sweden will be at the forefront of internationally competitive data-driven innovation and establishment of test and experiment infrastructure. By implementing advanced digitalization, resource utilization and the environmental impact of energy production/use will be optimized.

Planned approach and implementation

Needs/benchmark/foresight analyses will be carried out through workshops and bilateral meetings. Development of an offer and a communication campaign with outreach activities will be carried out to mobilize actors. Development of a project plan and project logic for the upcoming project with input from previous activities will be done. Dissemination will take place to the parties, the other feasibility studies, competence centers, clusters and additional stakeholders.
