Important results from the project
Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum is the leading network organization for initiating, conducting and communicating policy relevant research in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation, business dynamics and growth. To contribute with knowledge and enrich the debate Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum has gathered networks of key policy actors, business leaders and decision makers. This serves to fulfil the organization’s ambition to be a motor of change and affect policy to create good conditions for individuals to generate ideas and embark on new business ventures.
Expected long term effects
The aim has been to serve as a bridge between the entrepreneurship research community and all agents active in development of new and small enterprises; to initiate and disseminate research relevant to policy in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation and growth and to offer a forum for idea sharing; to build national and international networks in the field and to bridge the gap between research and practical application. As an organization dedicated to spreading research with relevance for policy makers it is paramount to be seen in the public debate. Result 20 debate articles a year.
Approach and implementation
Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum has initiated, conducted and communicated research according to presented projects in the application. A number of independent networks of key policy actors, such as the Economic Policy Forum, have followed the research projects. In average 30-35 activities have been arranged, of which some were prestige exercises: Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, Swedish Economic Forum, Swedish Entrepreneurship Summit and the Global Award. The main tasks have been high-quality research reports, an expanded research network and visibility in the policy debate
