Important results from the project
In 2024, funds were granted from Vinnova via IntSam Nordamerika to strengthen Sweden´s expert information gathering and analysis in the USA and Canada. Funds from Vinnova and STINT were used during the year to support the work that STINT started on site in 2020 when a North American office was established. Funding enabled several reports and delegations to be produced, prepared and carried out during the year, and also communicated to Swedish actors on site in Sweden through seminars.
Expected long term effects
Strengthening of Sweden´s global networks and understanding of the American and Canadian systems, especially within academic research and innovation.
Approach and implementation
The project proceeded largely as planned with a mix of strategic analysis within themes often chosen by the Swedish the actors within Intsam and published either internally and/or externally, arrangements for incoming delegations, participation in conferences, and networking. One deviation was that the project used only a subset of the allocated budget.
