Purpose and goal
The purpose of the trip was to build networks and contacts for future EU projects, aiming to increase the international exposure of ProgressMe for future commercialization of the product. During the conference we received the contacts we had expected, while increasing visibility and also confirming that the project we are currently running in Sweden is on the right track.
Expected results and effects
The result of the trip was as follows: Number of contacts planned - 10 Number of contacts spontaneous - 20 Participation in planned activities - 3 Participation in spontaneous activities - 2 Expected effects of the above: We expect this to lead to participation in at least one EU funded food disruption project in 2019, contacts (networks) to help us with our commercialization in other countries as well as inputs to make our service even better.
Planned approach and implementation
Before the trip we made a review of which contacts could be relevant to us. A lack of conference organizer was that it was not easy for us to find out which participants would come but we still managed to locate some in advance as we could carry out planned meetings. A reflection we made after the conference was that there were many universities and researchers who participated, something we were not completely prepared for which we learn and will be able to handle better in the future.
