Purpose and goal
The overall aim of the collaboration project is to strengthen Sweden´s attractiveness as a research destination and contribute to the skills needs in Sweden. The project will aim to increase collaboration between the Swedish EURAXESS network and external actors in the surrounding society but also between the various the actors in the network. The project will also work to increase the dissemination of information about EURAXESS.
Expected effects and result
We expect the project to contribute to an increased understanding of the issues addressed within EURAXESS and what EURAXESS is and can contribute with. This will create a greater understanding of the challenges that we need to solve together, through strengthened collaboration between universities and the surrounding society. We also see that the internal collaboration within the network will contribute to increased competence development for support staff at Swedish universities.
Planned approach and implementation
The project management at Linköping University will, together with a representative from Vinnova, be the contact person for the EU Commission, which runs EURAXESS internationally (so-called Bridge Head Organisation).
In Sweden, the project management will manage the Swedish network and be the contact person for external actors. Activities that will be carried out include network meetings, skills development opportunities, webinars on various themes, career support measures and more.
