IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute made valuable steps in establishing key partnerships with Canadian entities working in the critical minerals mining and recycling sectors, which are vital for enabling green energy transitions and circular economies globally. As the current climate for Canadian and Swedish partnerships is currently favorable, IVL intends to establish strong Canadian partnerships in fulfilling its mandate - enabling sustainable societies worldwide.

Approach and implementation

The approach consisted of having separate meetings with prospective partners to explore potential areas for collaboration and to attend the Innovation Days in Montreal to take advantage of the networking opportunities the event offered.
