Important results from the project
The goal was to increase awareness of entrepreneurship and business development among participants. The aim was to create more and more profitable companies in the industry. With a record of participants, and a high interest for the seminars about entrepreneurship and enterprise development, the knowlege has definitely increased. Hopefully that will make the companys in the industry more profitable.
Expected long term effects
The Equestrian Business attracted a record number of participants, 400 people from several countries. The media interest was breaking records and led to articles in the media industry across the globe. Participants were pleased with the event. We can see a clear interest to learn more about innovation and business development. In response to this, an action plan was developed for how the relationships with the industry may progress more precisely around innovation, business development and opportunities to seek economic support.
Approach and implementation
The 2013 Forum was held over two days, instead of one. The concept included a national day, and an international with parallel workshops in the afternoon. The new concept was appreciated, but a bit too long. Vinnova:s seminar in innovation and entrepreneurship attracted a record number of participants, which led to the conclusion that an action plan to further approach the horse industry, were worked out.
