Important results from the project
The project has achieved the goal and purpose as stated in the application. The knowledge from the feasibility study performed in 2013 have in the project been realized and the battery system is finalized. The technology gives unique advantages in mobile X-ray. Advantages are size, weight, less sensitivity and very fast charging.
Expected long term effects
The battery system is industrialized and tested. The company has during the project left the product development phase and is now in the commercialization phase and preparing for serial production. The advantages of battery technology are communicated to the market under the registered own brand ´x-tech cell´. Customers are contracted. The response from the market has been very successful. Product certification of the mobile X-ray equipment is ongoing and the goal with product launch in 2015 remains unchanged. From there, growth is expected to be very good.
Approach and implementation
The project started as planned. Difficulties during the verification phase delayed completion date with one month and will increased the total project costs significantly. Some changes in priorities have been made during the project.
