Purpose and goal

This project aims to empower SMEs in the electronics sector by fostering international partnerships for innovation and creating valuable business opportunities. By enhancing their understanding of European innovation landscapes, we will establish a collaborative environment where Swedish SMEs can connect, share ideas, and collaborate with other electronics companies across Europe. Supporting SMEs is essential for driving innovation, economic growth, and technological sovereignty within the EU.

Expected effects and result

The project aims to boost Swedish electronics SMEs´ access to European funding, enhance their readiness for international markets, and optimize business opportunities through partnerships in EU innovation ecosystems. By connecting SMEs with key EU markets, the initiative will expand their customer base, attract strategic partners, and promote cross-border collaboration, positioning Sweden as a key player in the EU electronics sector and strengthening the competitiveness and resilience.

Planned approach and implementation

Through open calls across Sweden, the project will use cluster networks to reach electronics SMEs nationwide. Selected companies will receive an "Internationalization Package" to boost their chances of securing EU funding, enhance market readiness, and optimize business opportunities with partners in EU innovation ecosystems. The package includes 10,000 SEK for travel and reduced entrance fees to major trade fairs, facilitating connections with potential innovation and business partners.
