Important results from the project

Through collaboration with Experts in X-ray radiation in operating rooms, a training program with the aim of increasing awareness of radiation-induced diseases for Texray´s staff and network has been developed. Competence strengthening at Texray has been carried out and the training package that has been produced will be an integrated part of the product as a whole and an important part of the offer to the customer. This strengthens the company´s knowledge and thus the future offer and competitiveness in the European market. The project has thus fulfilled its aim and objective.

Expected long term effects

The result has exceeded expectations, and partners/experts have conducted good dialogues and, together with Texray´s staff, created the first part of the training program, which will contribute to great dissemination of knowledge in all interest groups - with the aim of increasing understanding of the risks of radiation and the potential radiation-induced diseases and the importance of wearing personal protection.

Approach and implementation

Close collaboration with the experts has generated the material that we requested and had as an objective of the project. The selection of experts has been crucial to the success of the project. The fact that we constantly held a continuous dialogue, where the material was iterated and validated by several experts within the network, has also been decisive for the implementation.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
