Purpose and goal

The overall objective for DigIT Hub Sweden is to: - Increase and accelerate growth and productivity by digitalisation for SMEs in the manufacturing industry - Catalyse and drive digital transformation in the public sector DigIT Hub Sweden covers the regions of Skåne, Blekinge and Kronoberg and the thematic focus - Smart Manufacturing and Smart Cities - is closely linked to the three regions´ strategies for smart specialisation.

Expected effects and result

Through an EDIH in the region, businesses and the public sector have been able to evolve with new digitalisation technologies. The EDIH supports and accelerates broad digitalisation regionally, while even offering the region´s expertise and experience in digitisation to other European regions. SMEs in manufacturing and the public sector have increased their competitiveness both nationally and internationally through digitisation and digital innovation, they have increased their digital maturity and created innovative business models and digital services.

Planned approach and implementation

DigIT Hub Sweden is a continuation of the already established DigIT Hub (DIH). Over the past 2 years, DigIT Hub (DIH) has prepared, tested, adjusted and anchored our proposed EDIH activities together with consortium partners and the target groups in the region. The work packages have been structured according to the services provided by an EDIH: WP1: Project management and coordination WP2: Innovation ecosystems and networking WP3: Skills and training WP4: Test before invest WP5: Support to find investments WP6: Dissemination and communication
