Purpose and goal

Develop key technical building blocks to enable the extension of Excillum´s proven MetalJet technology beyond today´s 160 kV limit.

Expected effects and result

The HEEPOMIX results will be important technical building blocks for operating MetalJet X-ray sources at higher voltage than 160 kV and higher power than 1600 W with <50 m spot size. they enable a source platform that uses 100 more power than todays sources and opens the door to high-throughput industrial ct. the project supports europes transition to safer lighter and greener technologies.>

Planned approach and implementation

Excillum is project coordinator. Each partner have an internal technical project manager leading the partner´s work on their site, lead the assigned work packages and tasks, and will be responsible for the partner´s own reporting to the respective national public authorities. The internal project managers, together with the coordinator will form the project management committee and will be the decision-making group. The decision-making process is detailed in the consortium agreement.
