Purpose and goal
Gotmic has within the D-wave project developed various solutions for telecommunications between 100 and 170 GHz, also known as the D-band. We have developed prototypes of complete transmitters and receivers up to 118 GHz that are adapted for volume production. These surface-mount packaged circuits are unique in their kind in the world and Gotmic has very good opportunities to take a large part of the world-market early. Furthermore, we have developed concepts and solutions also up to 170 GHz and above.
Expected results and effects
Gotmic are currently in contact with several larger and smaller customers around the world (EU, USA, Asia) who are interested in our solutions. We anticipate that in a couple of years´ time this will lead to larger volumes and a larger share of the world market. Planned approach and implementation
The project has largely followed the project system we have at Gotmic with milestones and toll gates as well as continuous follow-up of the project. We have also reviewed our routines for external reporting of the project, e.g. as now to VINNOVA, as there have been shortcomings in this. As a result of this, all our publicly funded project´s reporting will be reviewed at our monthly reviews for development projects.
