Purpose and goal

The Swedish part of the project was primarily focused on making our contribution, the Tycho tool suite, available and useful to the partners and the overal thrust of the project. We released the software, adapted it to the needs of the partners, and consulted with them in using and integrating it with other tool components in the project (such as hardware synthesis and profiling tools from EPFL). The contributions happened according to schedule.

Expected results and effects

The project produced a prototype tool chain and delivered it to the industrial partners who are now refining and using it. Further work will be required for productization and full industrial-strength suitability, and to expand the scope of the tool both in terms of application areas as well as processing platforms. Some of this work could be focus of a follow-up project which is currently under discussion among the project partners.

Planned approach and implementation

The project proceeded largely according to plan. Toward the end technical and organizational delays primarily with the Swiss industrial partner caused a few months shift in integration and application testing, which prompted a change request to the funding agencies which we also used to promote the work during 2019.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
