Purpose and goal

The projects target is to create a dynamic test system for cross country skis based on scientific relevance to match perfect skis for every skier according to level of skills, snow conditions to improve the recreational skiers experience to be fantastic and to improve the athletes performance. The aim is to to add scientific and academic expertise to our own patent protected system Skiselector based on our inhouse industrial-, sports-, business- and innovation skills, in order to offer skiers experiences at the next level with new dimensions of service offers.

Expected results and effects

Dynamic test system for advanced analyses and interaction of relevant parameters of cross country skis, snow, skiers skills, physical status and skitracks. The expected result is to add on new dimensions on existing patent protected Skiselector Technology.

Planned approach and implementation

The development of concept, engineering, architecture and testing is provided by Skiselector and complex scientific issues are handled by universities, institutes, industrial consultants in biomechanics, engineering, material technology and snow.
