Important results from the project
The purpose is to investigate the prerequisites for starting a full-scale project to build a test facility for dynamic testing of full rock support systems. The objective is to have a result supporting a decision on the start of such a project. The project has largely been able to execute and deliver results according to plan. 100% target fulfillment is expected Q1, 2023 when remaining activities are completed as below: Budget and time plan for establishing the test facility Costs and time for performing tests in the facility Project plan for building the facility in a subsequent project
Expected long term effects
The pre-study will generate results that describe the prerequisites for and create a basis for deciding on the start of a full-scale project where we build a test facility for complete rock reinforcement systems. We see a large need for this type of testing facility from mines, manufacturers of rock reinforcement, as well as academia and expect to be able to continue working on realizing the planned facility in a new project.
Approach and implementation
