Important results from the project
Since it is confirmed that relevant competence from the Countys Testbed and Clinical department of rehabilitation medicine will participate then we fulfill ´need for relevant competences to be able to go through with an innovation contest´. The Clinics need is clearly identified and documented and suites an innovation contest very well. The project group judges the potential for need product as very high and that it has a large world market.
Expected long term effects
Identified need at the clinic fulfills Vinnovas program goal ´identified need that qualifies for innovation contest´. The fact the the clinic chose to use an innovation contest to find solution for their need fulfills the goal ´to contribute to that more Swedish organizations use innovation contest´ and the effect ´to inspire to search of new solutions from external organizations´. The County does´t have enough resources to solve the clinics need which shows the program goal ´show the importance of finding solutions outside your own organization...´.
Approach and implementation
We judge that the approach and time schedule are realistic. The contest is divided into four periods: Marketing phase 1-2 months (preliminary Oct-July), Development phase 3-4 months (preliminary Dec-March), Evaluation phase 3-4 months (preliminary April-July), and Announcement phase 1-2 weeks.
