Important results from the project

All set objectives were met including the arrangement of 4 webinars and workshops, the generation of a project portfolio with a total budget of over 10 million, process management of 10 scaleup candidates and in-depth internationalization support, the generation of five collaboration projects, in-depth support around AI-based startups, and the development of BML´s business model.

Expected long term effects

By generating new collaborative projects and strengthening these projects´ focus on business model development, Drive Sweden Business Model Labs´s efforts are expected to accelerate commercialization of new technological solutions that in turn promote sustainable transitions in transport and mobility. Through the dissemination of knowledge BML´s efforts are also expected to lead to greater awareness and knowledge of the role of the business model in sustainable technological transitions.

Approach and implementation

Key thematic areas were developed and startup/scaleup companies in need of internationalization support were identified. Internationalization support was carried out with one candidate at a time for approximately 3 months per effort for three candidates. A webinar and workshop series within four themes was carried out with follow-up support to generate new collaborations and project to explore business model-related issues within the selected thematic areas.
