Purpose and goal
The purpose of the DRIV project is to disseminate and implement a validated digital methodology and toolset that strengthens the ability of innovation environments and business coaches to support hardware startups in the transition from prototype to production. The objective is to establish common working methods, increase industrialization competence, and create a long-term management model for sustainable use and scaling.
Expected effects and result
The project will enable business coaches to adopt common industrialization tools and methods, including AI-supported analysis, maturity frameworks, and training materials. Expected impacts include higher quality and consistency in innovation support, reduced dependence on individual expertise, stronger collaboration between innovation environments, and a shorter path to production for hardware startups.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be delivered through five work packages: packaging of tools and methods, implementation in participating innovation environments, a national reference and learning group, system-wide dissemination, and project management. Activities include onboarding and training of business coaches, application in real startup cases, knowledge-sharing workshops, and development of a long-term governance and dissemination model.
