Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** A thorough investigation of microcomb generation was completed. - Installation of the system and data collection was completed. Data processing and analysis of the results was completed. The results were reported at a conference and are currently under peer-review in a scientific journal.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** It has been shown that microcombs can provide a robust platform for performing optical interferometry. In our demonstration, we showed that the microcombs can be implemented as a network of sensing points. Additionally, we implemented a feedback control to perform the experiments. This work can potentially be exploited for the commercialization of microcombs as sensors.
Approach and implementation
The project consisted of three work packages consisting of the initial implementation, collection of data, and analysis and reporting of the results. The first two packages were implemented at Chalmers and carried out by RISE stakeholders. Various skills were acquired during the implementation of the project and will be used by RISE´s personnel measurement activities.
