Project duration November 2018 - April 2020
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

We have demonstrated a digital information system for communication and optimization DISCO (Digital Information System for Communication and Optimization) which is a service for the fast growing digital commerce. We have developed, implemented and integrated our solutions for companies in the industry that have gone from analog to digital in the return process with good results. Our digital services visualize return flows and optimizes the process through integration and automation.

Expected results and effects

The result is that digital commerce has finally also become digital for return flows with all that it means. E.g. then return flows can now be optimized at a current return time, not as before a standard arrangement decided before the return cause became known. In addition, the industry can leave the pre-printed return notes sent with the delivery today and only be printed for the actual returns, ie an average of 30% of clothing returns. In addition, unnecessary transport can be reduced at the transport stage and for the consumer, they can be sent directly to the final destination.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** During the implementation, Easycom collaborated, according to plan, with companies such as Cellbes, Postnord and others to understand customer needs and system limitations today. Based on this, DISCO was discussed and developed to function as an interface between IT system suppliers such as Easycom, PostNord´s production system and the digital business´s various business systems. Disco is now developed and has been demonstrated with good results.
