Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has resulted in a functioning demonstrator and method to be able to measure a building based on images and field data and place an object, in the demonstrator a spiral staircase that is configured based on desired parameters. The goal of the project was that this process would take place through an uninterrupted digital information flow and work process, which has been successful in the project.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The tool has the potential to become a modern aid for measurement on facades or other objects where traditional techniques for measurement are not suitable. However, further testing and refinement of the methodology remains to ensure the dimensional accuracy of the tool, which today can produce deviations of up to 1%. The potential of the tool is considered promising among all participants in the project and several different areas where the tool can be used and create added value in the construction industry have emerged during the course of the journey.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has been carried out as a joint development of a digital tool with three technology developing partners: Spotscale, Skymaker and RISE as well as three actors in the construction and real estate industry who evaluated and tested and contributed to the design of the project. The collaboration has worked very well and has also resulted in joint ventures outside the scope of the project.
