Purpose and goal

The project aims to develop technology to improve surveillance and situational awareness. Vidhance software enhances video from moving cameras in real-time by leveraging motion sensors to create a stable image, minimize distortion and lock onto an object. We see great potential for surveillance, reconnaissance, combat and battle command with moving cameras, e.g. drones and body-worn cameras. The project aims for adaptation to military applications, as well as finding customers and partners.

Expected effects and result

That Vidhance software, through the project, has been adapted for military applications so that its value can be evaluated and demonstrated within the intended applications and enable businesses in the defense sector. The goal is to create a valuable video solution that will simplify and improve the use of video for education, training, combat command and situation awareness.

Planned approach and implementation

1: Product qualification - With the help of experts, work out conclusions and decisions about the choice of camera system to study further. 2: Product definition and integration plan for selected camera systems 3: Business plan with the product´s value, market, competitors, etc 4: Prototype - Selected algorithms from the Vidhance toolbox are adapted to the selected application.
