Important results from the project
We had planned to develop a prototype in collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces. We were unable to do so because the Swedish Armed Forces did not provide any contacts. The project has provided a network of contacts and insights into military challenges that we will use in the future. It has strengthened our belief that our technology has value for the Swedish Armed Forces and we hope that it can lead to business.
Expected long term effects
It is possible that we will establish a separate Defense business area.
Approach and implementation
As mentioned, the project would have been much more valuable if we had been able to establish contacts with the Armed Forces. A large part of the meetings in Linköping were devoted to training in entrepreneurship. This may be relevant for new startups but had little or no value for us.
