Important results from the project
The purposed of the pre-study was to examine the prerequisites for how digital innovation can contribute to more efficient logistics and daily management through collaboration between contractor-supplier-driver-vehicles and other stakeholders in the transport of bulk goods. Due to the corona epidemic, the industrial partner companies had to withdraw from this pre-study. Hence the project purpose and goals were not fulfilled / achieved.
Expected long term effects
The pre-study has not reached expected results and effects as the industrial partners had to withdraw from the study.
Approach and implementation
The pre-study could not be carried out due to the withdrawal of the industry partners. The project manager RISE made a major effort starting when the project was granted in March 2020 up until the kick-off in Nov 2020 to, based on the industrial partners´ changed conditions, find opportunities for them to participate. In the end, circumstances prevailed and the remaining industry partner was forced to leave the consortium. Without any industry partner, there were no opportunities to conduct the feasibility study.
