Important results from the project
The aim was to carry out an exploratory phase around creating a uniform health data infrastructure for patients with rheumatological diseases. The goal was to investigate the possibility for patients, caregivers, and researchers to have access to complete data about a patient´s health in order to create the best conditions for good care and enable world-leading research. This is to enable, at a later stage, health data to cross regional borders, and constitute a single point of access for research.
Expected long term effects
The goal was to gather strength and plan for an implementation phase to create a uniform health data infrastructure for patients with rheumatological diseases. The result of the project is in-depth work and understanding within the respective work packages that the project handled, for example behaviors and values around self-monitoring, and how mature health data solutions can relate and integrate.
Approach and implementation
The project, which ran from August 2022 - March 2023, has been divided into different work packages with different focuses, for example technology and behaviours. The different work packages have had different designs and structures. Meetings and workshops have taken place with parties within the project but also with external parties. For example, interviews and meetings have taken place with patients and patient representatives, representatives of the health data solutions and healthcare providers who work clinically.
