Important results from the project

The project aimed at further developing the national structure, as well as the exchange of experience between Innovation offices, Holding companies, incubators and science parks. The application aimed at strengthening support for the development of ideas originating from academia, which will then proceed to innovations in existing companies, or to the creation of new innovative companies. The participants perceived this project to have helped to strengthen the conditions for this on each of the Innovation offices.

Expected long term effects

The original application formulated a number of expected results that would be achieved to further develop the national structure, as well as the exchange of experience between innovation offices, holding companies, but also between incubators and science parks. This project was synchronized with the corresponding peer review for incubators and science parks (SISP), and within the project we have: - Developed an excellence model - Executed experience exchange meetings with the leaders of the Innovation Office and Holding companies.

Approach and implementation

The Innovation Offices have no formal organization that binds them together, but in this project, FUHS has taken this role to coordinate/communicate to all Innovation offices and Holding companies. The project/process in the peer review has served it´s purposes. The Innovation offices has learnt a lot about their own work, both during their own peer reviews, but also in the process of highlighting other Innovation offices. There has been a construcitve climate, and the starting point has been to not compare the Innovation offices with each other, which has led to rewarding discussions.
