Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop a scalable process to produce personalized 3D printed artery grafts for the treatment of vascular diseases. The ultimate goal is to produce personalized artery grafts based on 3D printing technology that surpass today´s synthetic grafts in terms of usability and long-term function.
Expected effects and result
By promoting the use of 3D printing in regenerative medicine, the project aims to improve patient outcomes, increase accessibility to advanced healthcare and to contribute to sustainable innovation in medical manufacturing.
Planned approach and implementation
VERIGRAFT AB will use RISE´s infrastructure and expertise to produce innovative, individually tailored grafts that mimic the biomechanical and biological properties of natural ones arteries.
