Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to conduct visits to potential partners in an international exchange for Engqvist. This has been achieved through visits and discussions with 6 different locations in the United States.
Expected long term effects
The results of the project provide that preferably UC Irvine would be suitable for an exchange in the future. Other universities visited appeared to be somewhat out of focus purely thematic or that the location was not favorable.
Approach and implementation
This has been very educational, and it had not worked to implement plans for a mobility period only via ´remote´ contact. During the visits, the focus has been on the first thematic strength, the ability to actually implement the project in place, the conditions for the exchange and the opportunity for a good accommodation for accompanying family. This has been very valuable and provided good insights.
